Our client is an expat Australian lady who is currently working overseas and wanted to get into the property market in Brisbane before it becomes out of reach. Our client had a set budget and a desire to purchase a modern, low maintenance property that will provide a solid rental return into the future. Our client ideally wanted to purchase an inner-city property on a small parcel of land that did not require renovation and was ready for a tenant to move into straight away.

Our client interviewed several Brisbane Buyer’s Agents and Advocates and selected Templeton Property for our professionalism and experience in purchasing off market properties throughout the inner city suburbs of Brisbane.

How Templeton helped

Given the clients requirements and firm budgetary constraints, it was recommended that we look for a modern inner-city townhouse located in a small complex, well located to a local neighbourhood shopping centre. Ideally the property would already have installed or have the ability to easily install: Air conditioning; dishwasher; built in wardrobes; ceiling fans; security screens; and built-in cupboards. A healthy sinking fund balance and low body corporate fees is an essential requirement of Templeton Property Buyer’s Advocates.

With low stock levels, contacting agents to learn about premarket and off market listings was essential to this acquisition. Sam Price and the team of Buyer’s Agents and Advocates have been actively purchasing similar properties for over 10 years and have built strong relationships with agents throughout the inner city suburbs of Brisbane over this time. It was during one of our weekly call sessions to local inner city agents that we learnt about this off market property. The result
