Our client was planning on moving back to Brisbane after many years working overseas and was looking for a well-located family home, that was close to amenities and low maintenance. Their location was flexible, with the main requirement being within 10-15 minutes’ drive of the CBD and room for a swimming pool in the future.
The key features they were looking for included:
- Inner city Brisbane (10-15 minutes’ drive to CBD)
- Modern or renovated home
- 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 car garage
- Potential to install an inground swimming pool

During the first 2 weeks of our search we spoke to our client on several occasions, with the aim to focus in on the key suburbs as well as the style and layout of the property that would suit them. The initial brief was a little broad, so our initial aim was to drill down on what would our clients dream home look like as well as their location requirements. We then focussed on 3 key inner city Brisbane suburbs and on a weekly basis, contacted every key agent working these suburbs, and was able to hear about each new and off market listings, before they came to market.
The result
This wonderful family home was identified premarket and suited the clients’ requirements perfectly. The home was successfully purchased by Sam Price via private treaty in a multiple offer scenario.
